Well the good news is that I have been at 295.5 for the last three days. The bad news is that when I stay up late I eat. I had a really good day yesterday up until 10:30. I probably had about 1000 extra calories in that late night session that lasted until 1:30.
More good news is that today is a new day and I will do better today. I am really starting to understand what I used to do on a daily basis that would keep me at this weight for so long.
Yesterday was also very stressful because I turned in my 2 weeks notice at my current job.
BTW, "The Power of Dave" is going to kick butt.

I finally took the time to catch up on your new blog. 1st of all, your son looks great. 2nd, good luck on you job change, i hope it's for the best !
Finally, i think it's really bad to eat just a few hours before going to bed because those calories go diretcly to storage. Well, you can make up for it today by burning it off in an intense training session. Push your limits !

I noticed the same problem when I started staying up later. I would be fine until about 1:00 am. After I realized what was going on, I started going to bed much earlier just to avoid eating more.

David - your daughter is cute as well... how old is she?
Kristen - Every once in a while I need to stay up later for work. I just need to find a way to stop this bad behavior. Perhaps trying to eat dinner around 7 - 7:30 instead of 6:30 might help. I also find that I do this more when I procrastinate. Working on this as well.
Eat a spoonful of Natural Peanut Butter at night :)
I do the peanut butter thing too...sometimes on half a whole wheat english muffin.
